1. How do I create my profile online?
  It’s really easy. All you have to do is fill in our REGISTRATION FORM as accurately as possible and then click the SUBMIT button at the end. Your profile is ready! However, we will need a little time to screen the information given by you and your profile can be viewed by other members of cambshadi.com minimum of 24 hours to a maximum of 48 hours after you have registered.
 
2. Do I have to fill the entire registration form?
  YES. Looking for the perfect life partner is serious business and the more information you give, the more details can be garnered by other Cambshadi.com members. This will help a potential match to understand you fully, check out your likes and dislikes and will help you get the right, the most compatible response.

3. Are there any specific DO's and DONT's while creating a profile?
  Well, DO be as detailed as possible while creating your profile and also upload a photograph. The more information you add the more your chances of finding a partner.
 
While creating a matrimonial profile, give brief information about yourself in the profile description part. Try your best to touch upon various aspects of your life like
Your personality (what kind of a person you are, your likes and dislikes)
Your educational and professional background and achievements.
Your family (Parents profession, number of sisters & brothers).
Your expectations from a life partner.
Add a recent photograph to improve chances of getting responses.
Important notice: Profiles with photos gets the best responses.
DO NOT use your matrimonial profile to display your contact details and do not include content that is vulgar, pornographic or racist.
Please do not give a lengthy description. Try to keep your description short and complete and do not get into the minutest details.

To edit your profile, after logging in follow these steps:
a) Under “Account Details” (on the left hand side of the page), click on “Modify Your Profile”
B) Edit your profile according to the instructions provided and click the Submit button at the end of the form.
Your profile will be edited and updated and made available to all Cambshadi.com members in upto 48 hrs.

5. Can I change all the information on my profile?
  You can change most of the information on your profile. However, you cannot change your Username, Date of Birth, Gender or Caste.

You cannot delete your profile yourself but you have to send an –mail to info@cambshadi.co.in and we will do it for you.

7. How do I get my profile back on site after I have deleted it?
  If you have deleted your profile, you will have to create a new one to go back on the Cambshadi.com site. You will not be able to use the same user ID and e-mail ID as that gets occupied under your status and becomes inactive after deletion.

Enter your old password.
Enter your new password and confirm the same. Click on "Change Password" button.
Your new password will be immediately activated and you will be logged out. Please use the new password to login again.

  Every Client No. / Profile ID is unique and is allocated by the system. You cannot choose your own Client No. / Profile ID since it is system generated. It cannot be changed under any circumstances

The password you have entered might be wrong. Alternatively you might be having the
CAPS LOCK "On". Please check whether the password is entered in the correct case (Upper or Lower)
Please check the "Client No. / Profile ID" you have entered, ensure that there are no spaces in the Client No. / Profile ID typed. For e.g., it should be 123456 not 1234 56

No, you can’t get any sort of contact details over the phone, you will have to send an e-mail from one of the e-mail ID’s you have provided at the time of registration or you can send us a letter to any of our offices in Bangalore or Hyderabad or you can come in person to any of our offices in Bangalore or Hyderabad to collect the print outs of the selected Profile's / Horoscope (if available) along with contact details at no EXTRA COST.

  No, requests over phone for contact details will never be entertained. 31. Why am I able to contact only profiles of the opposite gender?
  Your membership is for your personal use only and you can contact opposite gender profiles to initiate proposals. However, if you are trying to contact profiles for your brother/ sister, you can add a separate profile for them and upgrade it to Online, Offline and Online/Offline membership.

32. I’m an Online, Offline and Online/Offline member. Can I get the direct contact information of other members such as Phone, email and address?
  Only if you are a Offline or Online/Offline member you can get the contact details by sending us an e-mail/post requesting us to send their contact details or you can also directly walk in to our office and collect a printout of their profile along with their horoscope (If available).

After seeing a member's profile, click on the CONTACT button below the photo, immediately a message compose box will be opened. Here you can type your message with your contatc details and click on the "Send Message" button. Your message will be deposited in the "Inbox" folder of Cambshadi.com's "Online Message System" and also simultaneously an e-mail will be sent mentioning "A Message has been sent by Client No. ........... " to their e-mail ID.

  To find your Life Partner, follow the given steps:

a.) Create an online profile: This is the first and most important step. This profile will determine how others who come to the site will know you as. Be honest and spend time filling the open fields regarding yourself, your family and who you are looking for.

The form to add your profile will be displayed. Give all the necessary as well as optional details asked in the form. Click on submit button.
Give as many details as possible, including your contact details in full. This will increase the chances of your profile being displayed when our members search for matches.
After you submit your information, your profile will be automatically created and you shall be generated a "Client No. / Profile ID" for future references.
All the profiles are validated before inclusion in the database. It may take up to 24 hours for the validation. An E-mail would be sent to you once the profile is added.

The profiles are validated for statutory regulations of the site to avoid pornography and various other factors and to have uniformity in the database.

44. Why do you take time for validation?
  Validation of profiles is done manually. Our support team meticulously validates each and every profile carefully on specific criterion before it is added to our database. Hence, it takes 24 to 48 hrs to validate all the profiles that are being added on one particular day.

45. On what criteria is the validation done?
  Almost every word counts. We categorically ignore profiles that are submitted by underage persons, and profiles that contain abusive content. We reject profiles that contain invalid data such as added for fun/ looking for friendship / not related to marriage. We try to maintain the highest quality in our database served.

46. Can I register for my friend, relative or sibling?
  Yes! In fact we have a number of profiles being registered by parents, siblings, relatives etc.

47. What should I enter in the description field?
  This is where you reveal yourself - your personality, your likes and dislikes, your educational and family background, career and personal interests, and expectations about your partner. Try to give a clear self-description and enter your expectations clearly and completely. A good description will always fetch instant responses. Look at the sample profile below, which is clear, brief and has all the important details in a well-organized manner.

  All fields except your e-mail address and telephone number will be displayed to free members.

  Profile addition on the site is mandatory. Without adding a profile you cannot proceed to contact other members. When you add your profile, a unique Client No. / Profile id is assigned to you. This id is required for you to login, make a payment and contact profiles.

50. I get the error "No matching records found" while searching for the profiles. Why is that so?
  Please check your search criteria. If you are searching for a particular sub caste, try rephrasing your spellings. We suggest you to use partial names or try all the possible spellings in the sub caste field, for example: Brahmin, Brahmin, Iyer, etc. to get profiles of a particular sub caste.
If you have used date options in the search, please check the dates entered. For Example, in the "When Posted" Option ensure that you have not entered a future date by mistake.

If you are interested in a profile after seeing the photo / details, select one of the “Profile Feedback" option and click on the “Save Comments" button

All the profiles are validated before inclusion in the database. It may take up to 24 hours for the validation. An E-mail would be sent to you once the profile is added.

52. How can I view all the Members I have Bookmarked?
  You could bookmark any member who strikes your interest. You could view the list of the Bookmarked profiles by selecting the options just above “Search My Life Partner” button which you will find after logging in.

  After logging into your account and searching for profiles if you find a profile unsuitable for you, you can click on the "Ignore this profile" option under “Profile Feedback”. It will be added to your ignored profiles list.

It is important to add your photo, because the most viewed profiles on our site are the ones with a photograph. You will be taken to the “Upload your photo here” page
Click on the 'Browse' button and select the digital photo (in JPG /GIF format) you wish to add to your profile.
Click on the "Upload Photo" link to add the photo to your profile.
The photo will be added as your Main Photo. You now have the option of adding up to 3 photos to your profile. While adding the photo for the first time, please select carefully which photo you want as the "Main Photo".
   
58. I am encountering problems in adding my digital photo to my profile. What do I do?
  Please send your photo as an E-mail attachment to info@cambshadi.co.in in JPG / GIF format, along with your Client No. / Profile ID. Please mention which photo should be added as the main photo. We will add the photo to your profile and send you the confirmation.

  You could have got an error if your file is not in JPG /GIF format or if the file size of the photo is more than 100 KB. We accept digital photo files only in the JPG / GIF format and less than 100 KB in size.

64. In what size should I upload my digital photo?
  The maximum size acceptable for a digital photo is 100 KB. If your photo is more than 100 KB, please email it to info@cambshadi.co.in with your Client No. / Profile Id and Password. We will reduce the image size and upload it for you, absolutely FREE.
